Mazda Japan, based in Hiroshima has announced the launch of the Roadster Prestige Edition. Known as the MX5 or Miata outside of Japan, the Roadster reinvented the roadster sports car market with its launch in 1989. Since then a number of small and large revisions have seen the Roadster change significantly in appearance whilst keeping its unique sports driving focus.
The top-of-the-range Prestige Edition expands on the latest third generation NC Roadster with a number of new features aimed at the automatic transmission model such as:
- Exclusive black genuine leather upholstery with seat heating
- 17" BBS forged wheels
- Stainless scuff plates and fog lamps
- Dynamic Stability Control for the automatic transmission model
- Front strut tower bar for improved handling for the automatic transmission model
Unfortunately, this prestige edition is not avaialble outside of Japan and is made exclusively to customers orders. However, with a little bit of aftermarket modifications you may be able to recreate your own Prestige Edition exactly how you want it.
